If past years are any indication, we’ll also likely see new Apple Watch models unveiled alongside the new iPhones, although Apple will likely hold off any MacBook or iPad announcements to a second event in October.NSIS (Nullsoft Scriptable Install System) is a professional open source system to create Windows installers. Note that these are also unlikely to represent iPads, since Apple’s decision to split those off into running iPadOS means that those would be listed running “iPadOS 13” and not “iOS 13.”Įither way, we won’t have to wait long to find out what’s coming, as Apple is expected to announce its new iPhones at an event in early September - probably September 10th - where we’re expecting to see direct successors to the iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max, the higher-end versions of which will be getting a triple-lens camera system, two-way wireless charging, and possibly even indoor navigation support. That said, this most likely just represents different cellular and radio configurations for different countries, and suggests that possibility that Apple has had to create more variations due to new antenna designs. What’s notable is that this list includes 10 more models than last year’s filing, which covered the iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max, but only listed 21 different models.
However, it now looks like those were just early filings, and they’re being repeated here as running iOS 13. Some of these are repeated from an earlier filing in May, which listed new iPhone models that would have been running iOS 12, setting off a wave of speculation about an imminent release of an iPhone SE 2 or iPhone XE back at the time. The filing for iOS 13 devices is the most substantial of all, which includes 31 products in total, spread across two listings - oddly one containing only two models, while the other 29 are collected in a single list.

There are four new Apple Watch model numbers here, however - A2156, A2157, A2092, and A2093 - which most likely refer to variations of the Apple Watch Series 5, although they could also possibly include titanium and ceramic models of the Series 4 as well. This would, however, seem to confirm that Apple doesn’t plan to discontinue the Apple Watch Series 3 in the near future.
There are twelve Apple Watch models identified as watchOS 6 devices, across two separate listings, although eight of them refer to existing Series 3 and Series 4 models of the wearable.
It’s very likely that the new MacBook Pro is among these, along with some possible spec bumps to other MacBooks as well. There are enough new MacBook Pro identifiers to support all of the rumours we’ve been hearing thus far that the premium 16-inch MacBook Pro will be making its debut.Īlthough we already saw several new filings for MacBooks back in June, at least some of these referred to the July refresh of the MacBook Air and entry-level MacBook Pro, although some unidentified models remain, and were repeated in this filing to confirm the certification.
